Crock Pot Creations

Disclaimer: this post isn't of the typical "food blog" quality.  Don't expect any perfectly garnished plates or great pictures, but here are some things that I've "successfully" made and have satisfied our tummies :]

And yes. . .the crock pot is on the floor in every picture. We have no outlets in our kitchen. . .TIJ!

Taco Soup
Before adding the ground beef and cooking for 3 hours.

Chicken Cordon Bleu

Before

After. . .I was too hungry to take a picture first. . .whoops!

There really should be some green on that plate! ;]

Rice Pudding [ sorry! no picture ]

Baked Apples [ favorite of course! ]

Before

After :] sooo delicious!

There's what I've got so far! Hopefully there will be more yummies to come!

  1. It all looks yummy. You're going to be a gourmet crock-potter. We'll be looking forward to dinner when you get home in the summer.

  2. I'm trying that chicken idea. You go girl. I knew you had it in you:)

Now as for getting Chris to eat "green foods" . . . a little food coloring in that pasta may be your only hope.:)

Love you guys. Praying for you both!!

  4. I wish I could call them gourmet :) They sure do the trick though, and the taco soup is awesome because it makes several meals worth and only gets better the second time around!
