Service Week Part 2

Passing out the peanut butter cookies they made (pictures here) to the security guards, and thanking them for all they do to make our school and safe place!

This is Pak Setyo. He is the head of security at our school, and such a nice guy!

This is Ibu Putri. She watches over the area where the kids play at break every day. She's always smiling!

The kids also got a chance to learn from the cleaners how to wash the glass windows in our school. We talked about how we should be thankful for what the cleaners do to keep our school clean. And since we can't always help them by cleaning, we can do our best not to leave our finger prints on the glass windows, and pick up after ourselves when we leave messes. The kids did great!

Service Week Part 1

Due to busyness, I've gotten behind on posting the blogs I wanted to. These are pictures copied from my class blog back in November. It usually consists of lots of pictures to show the parents what their kids are up to at school when they can't be there. I don't want to forget these times, so even though it's "old" I'm posting it anyways. Enjoy the cute faces!

Making peanut butter cookies to pass out to the security guards at our school tomorrow (link here).

In class, we talked about all the people who serve us every day at school. This was our way of saying thank you! The students also wrote thank you cards to hand out with the cookies.

The kids did SUCH a good job reading stories to the Kindy kids. You can see from the pictures how engaged they were with the stories, and the care they took to show the pictures. I'm so proud of them all! :)
